Last August I was asked to create a portrait of a Last August I was asked to create a portrait of a 66 year old Granny..... and I bet not one of you would have expected THIS!!! We take WAY too few photographs as we get older. Which is such a shame. Because it seems to me that the more wrinkles we get, the less doubts we have. And the greyer the hair the more colourful the soul. The irrepressible @julesleapyear56 - fellow Shutterbabe, lover of Northern Soul and TikTok queen photographed in her much loved camper van. She has no idea that her portrait won a Highly Commended in the MPA "Fine Art" Portrait category last summer. I've saved it until today ..... her 67th birthday. Living proof that a beautiful woman is an accident of nature. But a beautiful older woman is a work of art. Happy 67th Birthday Jules x
