It’s not very often that I get to share my maternity work. Maternity images are quite “private” and Mummies don’t always want them shared all over the Internet.
So it is lovely to be able to share a picture of these gorgeous eight mummies to be.
I have the honour and pleasure to work with a very talented midwife called Laura, who runs the Bump Birth And Beyond classes in Flore.
For each group of ladies, we try and organise an evening where I pop along to their class and take some completely free maternity portraits for them all.
There is no charge. All we ask is that they make a donation of whatever amount they see fit to a lovely local charity, Baby Basics Northampton.
Baby Basics Northampton supports vulnerable Mums to be with essential items for themselves and their baby. Working with local health visitors, midwives, family workers, charities, churches, and other agencies, their starter packs provide a safe place for babies to sleep, as well as being packed with clothes, blankets and toiletries for baby and toiletries for Mum too. Each starter pack is bespoke to each referral and Baby Basics can provide Moses basket starter packs, bath starter packs or hospital bags depending on what is needed. Their mission is to “provide a gift of hope, respect and love”
Laura’s last group raised £185 and this is what I got sent to the charity. How amazing is that!!
